We have two options available on our half beef share. We have freezer beef that have been cut with a standard cut and custom cut. Our freezer beef are already processed and ready for delivery or choose to have one custom cut.  Place a deposit and final payment can be made when your order is delivered.

On a custom cut 1/2 beef means you get exactly what you want! You select the cuts you want, the thickness, quantity and how you want it packaged! The ultimate beef experience, but make sure you have the freezer space! Expect to get 55-65% of the half the live weight! That’s roughly 230-330 pounds of Beef in your freezer! You will need up to 8-9 cubic feet of freezer space for half a beef.    

So, let’s talk about how this works. YOU pay the deposit, and we will contact you of available dates.  Right now, we have spots available through the end of the year and into 2024.  This deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE. Once the deposit is paid we will contact you will a link to fill out our custom cut form.  

From there we drop off the beef on the date you requested to the butcher. Then we wait. The beef is dry aged for 14-18 days, after it has been sent to the butcher, then it is cut and packaged per your request. 

At this point the beef is cut up to your specifications, and we get a final Rail Weight (which is the weight of the carcass hanging on the hook), and an invoice is generated when we pick up the beef from the butcher.  We charge $5.15 per pound x Rail Weight/2. So, if the rail weight of your beef is 800 pounds, then your half is 400 pounds. Your invoice will be $2060 minus your $250 deposit, so $1810.

Once the beef is processed, we schedule delivery with you, and drop it off at your doorstep… for FREE! The remaining balance is due upon delivery.  

Occasionally when we do not have a beef assigned, we will have it cut with our standard cut.  These can be purchased when available and will be listed below.  Cut with steaks 3/4" thick, 3-4 lb roasts and 1 lb packages of burger.

Then you just have to pack your freezer and try not to eat all the good stuff at once!
