
We currently offer 1/4, 1/2 and whole beef shares. Pricing is calculated from the rail weight or hanging weight of the carcass at the time it is processed.
Pricing is as follows (All deposits will be deducted from the final balance when delivered or picked up)
1/4 Beef Share is $5.35/lb on rail weight with a $250 deposit to reserve
1/2 Beef Share is $5.20/lb on rail weight with a $500 deposit to reserve
Whole Beef Share is $5.10/lb on rail weight with a $1000 deposit to reserve
Our quarter beef shares come with our standard cut and have limited options for customization.
1/2 and Whole beef shares can be fully customized.
With our beef shares, you will receive premium grass fed and finished beef that has been dry aged at a small family-owned USDA inspected facility.
Approximately 50% of a share will be steaks, roasts and other cuts; the other 50% will be ground beef. The cuts and ratios you receive will depend on your selections and the animal being processed.
You will need approximately 8 cubic feet on average for a Half Beef Share.
Please note that beef shares are personally delivered by us anywhere in Utah and to some surrounding areas. With this in mind we do our best to coordinate a delivery date that we can maximize delivery of as many orders as possible. When possible, we will deliver right to your doorstep or to a centralized location like a farmers market. This way we can keep costs competitive.
To secure your beef share:
- Select the beef share amount that you would like to secure and when you would like it processed. Pay the deposit to reserve your animal; this will be deducted from the final balance.
- We will personally reach out to you via email or text to provide you with your customized Cut Sheet and/or options. Your Cut Sheet with a 1/2 or whole beef share deposit serves as your instruction guide for our processor, specifying how you'd like your animal to be processed and detailing the cuts you'll receive in return. If this is your first experience with a beef share or if you would like assistance in tailoring the cuts to best suit your family's needs, feel free to schedule a call with us, and we will work together to fill out your Cut Sheet. We are here to help.
- We will contact you when your beef is ready, which will be approximately two to three weeks from your selected processing date. We will then arrange a time for us to deliver or for you to come pick up your beef.
- Your remaining balance will be calculated when your beef is ready and will be due when delivered or picked up.
Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE. But in the event that circumstances change, please reach out to us. We will never leave you empty handed. We will provide the deposit equivalent in beef. Cuts and amounts will be subject to what we have available.
Average rail weight for a full beef can range from 750-950 lbs give or take.
